Purpose of Messages

By opting in, subscribers agree to receive informational SMS messages from Granger‑Hunter Improvement District (“GHID”), including:

  • Service alerts and outage notifications
  • District updates
  • Account or billing notifications
  • Customer support messages
  • Appointment reminders and operational notices

No marketing messages will be sent.

Opt‑In Method 

Users may opt in by:

  • Submitting a mobile number through GHID’s customer portal, service request pages, or by calling our office.
  • Checking the SMS consent box when creating or updating an account
  • Providing verbal or written consent during customer service interactions

Content is never shared or sold

GHID does not sell or share SMS content or mobile numbers with third parties. SMS data is used only for message delivery.

Message frequency may vary depending on district operations and service‑related needs.

Fees Disclosure

Message and data rates may apply.

STOP / Opt‑Out Instructions

To stop receiving messages, text: STOP
A confirmation message will be sent, and no additional messages will be delivered unless the subscriber opts in again.
