Critical Home Repair Program

Habitat for Humanity supports families in maintaining safe and healthy living conditions through its Critical Home Repair Program (CHiRP).

Leaking plumbing is included amoung the repairs they cover, and this extends to mainline breaks - provided the homeowner meets program qualifications.

However, CHiRP is not an emergency repair service. Before repairs can begin, Habitat for Humanity must complete a home assessment, verify the homeowner's insurance coverage, run a title and credit check, and confirm eligibility based on income.

Public notice for Habitat for Humanity's Critical Home Repair Program, eligibility quiz, income limits, and contact info for Salt Lake area.
